El Kanemi
Warriors Technical Adviser Ladan Bosso has threatened to file a protest to the
Nigeria Referee Association (NRA) and League Management Company (LMC) against referee Mr Nee Christopher over his handling of Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL)matches involving his team, Sportinglens.blogsport.com reports.
Sportinglens.blogspot.com reports that Mr Christopher served as the Assistant Referee 1 in the mathday 22 clash between Wikki Tourists and El Kanemi Warriors on Sunday.
The Borno
Army lost 2-1 to Giants Elephants at the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa Stadium but
Bosso believes the final score line should have been 2-2 as he blamed Christopher for
the loss.
The former
Kano Pillars manager alleged that referee Christopher deliberately canceled
Yahuza Bala’s 21st minute equalizer because of an existing disagreement between
them. The former Sunshine Stars forward tapped in from a close range but it was
ruled for an offside.
According to
the El Kanemi tactician, referee Christopher is an agent of players who should not be a match official.
Bosso claimed that Chris had sent a player to him earlier this season but
he could not sign him because the player couldn’t fit into his plans, hence,
the beginning of their rivalry, and has vowed to deal with him.
Sportinglens.blogsport.com understands that Christopher and Bosso had first encounter during first stanza
of NPFL game between Abia Warriors and El Kanemi Warriors in Umuahia, which was
won by the Maiduguri-based outfit on Wednesday March 25, 2017 where he served
as Assistant Referee 1. Marcus Bwash as centre referee and Musari Musa (AR2)
while Ahmed Mohammed Yakubu served as the match commissioner.
