Hazard heads out for summer haircut, continues recovery

Chelsea star Eden Hazard has shared an update from his road to recovery as he looks to overcome an ankle injury suffered on international duty. It has already been revealed that the Belgian forward will miss the start of the season following his fracture at the start of June, but he seems in good spirits this week.

Hazard posted a series of pictures to Twitter as he headed out of his house to get a haircut, with a little help from his family.

The 26-year-old still has his right leg in a brace and is using crutches to get around, so admitted he is 'being driven around by my family, so I can keep my foot up.'

With the weather hotting up around Europe, the Chelsea man has opted for a short back and sides, perhaps to cope with the warm temperature.

Alongside the post on his Twitter account, Chelsea fans will have been buoyed by the '#cfc' hashtag, despite constant rumours that he could leave this summer.

Hazard has been linked with a huge-money move to Real Madrid before the window shuts on August 31, but this week he gave the biggest hint yet that he could stay.

The Belgian is believed to be on Zinedine Zidane's summer shortlist alongside Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea and Monaco teenager Kylian Mbappe with Hazard previously saying he would listen to an offer from his idol.

But having lifted his second Premier League title at Stamford Bridge, Hazard says he has already set his sights on a third and insisted he is 'very happy' at what he believes is one of the biggest clubs in the world.
