Gombe United
have received injury boost ahead of Wednesday’s matchday 26 of the Nigeria
Professional football League (NPFL) encounter against Abia Warriors as the deputy
captain, Alhassan Yusuf, Saleh Mohammed and Sadiq Shuaibu have resumed full training session after
nursing various degree of injuries, Sportinglens.blogspot.com can reveal.

reports that Alhassan was battling with knee injury; Saleh was nursing ankle
crack while Shuaibu was treated with Hamstring injury. They were all participated
in Tuesday's training session and they are in contention for a place in the
squad for Wednesday’s game.
Saleh and
Alhassan have been on the treatment table over a month ago after sustained injuries
during NPFL game against Wikki Tourists and at the team’s training session respectively.
Shuaibu, who
was out for about two weeks, picked up the injury during his team’s game
against Rangers international FC of Enugu.
In a chat
with Sportinglens.blogspot.com, the club’s media officer, Hallilu Teli described
their return as a morale booster to the team.
“It is a welcome development because they are very important to the club,” Teli said to Sportinglens.blogspot.com.
