ABS coach Makinwa gets 3-match ultimatum

The management of Abubakar Bukola Saraki (ABS) Ilorin FC, has given the coach of the team, Henry Makinwa, a 3-match ultimatum to win or face the exist door. This was contained in a statement issued in Ilorin on Sunday and signed by the team's Director of Football, Alloy Chukwuemeka.


The statement said the management took the decision after a meeting to review the 2-4 loss to Sunshine Stars on Sunday in Ilorin, adding it won't accept poor performances from the technical crew anymore.

The Saraki Boys have not won in the last four games including a 0-2 loss to 3SC in Ibadan, 1-1 draw with Kano Pillars in Ilorin, another 1-2 loss to MFM FC in Lagos and the 2-4 to Sunshine Stars.

The statement said the current position of the team on the log is worrisome and the technical crew must start its rejuvenation from the Rivers United game on Sunday in Ilorin.

Meanwhile, the management has scheduled a meeting with the players, supporters club and the technical crew for Monday to discuss the way forward for the team.

ABS occupying 16 position on the log with 35 points from 28 matches played so far.
