Leicester City have reportedly agreed a deal in principle with Manchester City for the transfer of Super Eagles striker Kelechi Iheanacho, according to Sky Sports sources.

Reports have it that the fee could rise to £25m for the 20-year-old but there are a number of contractual issues still to address - including whether or not there will be a buy-back clause, allowing Iheanacho to return to the Etihad for a fixed price in the future.

Sources also claimed that Iheanacho has to resolve a dispute over image rights with his former agent before any new contract can be signed.

Sky Sports reports that there is a willingness on all sides to get the deal done, and the player himself is keen on a switch to King Power Stadium.

However, the former Youth International star turned up for Manchester City first day of pre-season training wearing bold glasses as Iheanacho and his teammates  were greeted by pouring Mancunian rain upon their return.

City have the coming week to regroup and reacquaint themselves with daily football before jetting off to the United States for the start of their pre-season tour.
