The club’s media officer, Bala Kurba disclosed to Sportinglens.blogspot.com that the club’s General Manager, Auwalu Baba Jada cleared the players’ bonuses as a way to boost their morale for the encounter tagged ‘Northern derby’.

that the Big Elephants’ preparation was more than never before because of the
important of the game.
“We went to
Ibadan with the aim of getting something from the match against 3SC but it was
unfortunate that the result didn’t favour us. We have put that behind us and we
are now focusing on Kano Pillars’ game which is more important to the team. As
soon as we arrived in Bauchi from Ibadan, the club’s GM Baba Jada ordered that
all the players’ match bonuses should be paid. All the attention has been
shifted to the match because of the important attached to it.
“The
preparation is going on well and the players know what is at stake in the
match. We are gradually moving up and we want to end the season well. The
players have also resolved to give everything to the game and get favourable
result on Sunday. We have all our players fully ready for the game,” Kurba said
