Wikki Tourists were unlucky against MFM- Baba Jada

Taofeek Babalola

Wikki Tourists General Manager Auwalu Baba Jada has commended his boys despite their 1-0 loss to Mountain Of Fire and Miracle Ministries FC in the matchday 29 of the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) clash at the Agege Stadium on Sunday, reports Sportinglens.blogspot.com.

Odey’s 40th minute goal and his 17th goal of the season ensured that Olukoya Boys picked all the three points at stake in the highly interesting match. MFM had scored a goal in each of their matches against Wikki Tourists in the NPFL.

Jada told Sportinglens.blogspot.com that his team played better and would have picked something from the game but they missed their last two chances.

He added that the team will continue to push until the end of the season, stressing that they would now focus on the game against ABS on Wednesday.

“The game has been played and won and we have learnt a lot from it. We came here with full determination to pick at least a point from the game. The boys played well and they did their best. We were very very unlucky because we played better and created chances but we were unable to make use of it. We are now focusing on our next game because every game is very important now. We will go home and prepare well for our next game against ABS on Wednesday. We aim for maximum three points in the game by the grace of God,” Jada said to Sportinglens.blogspot.com
