Sports Club of Ibadan (3SC) of Ibadan striker Bode Daniel says his side will
not throw in the towel in the battle against relegation with three matches to
end the 2016/2017 of the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) season, Sportinglens.blogspot.com reports.
3SC defeated Nasarawa United 2-0 in their last game at the Lekan Salami Stadium,
Adamasingba, Ibadan on Sunday to bring alive their survival hope.
A win on the
road for the Oluyole Warriors will go a long way to brighten their chances of maintaining
their premier league status and the former Crown FC of Ogbomoso forward is confident
that his side can achieve that in their next game against El Kanemi Warriors.
The former
Sharks FC of Port-Harcourt goal-poacher said he and his colleagues will play to
protect their names and the name of the club.
“Our next game on the road is so much
important. We need good result there and we will fight to get result, with God
on our side it is possible. We need points
from away, we can get it and we would get it. We will fight to avoid the drop because
our name is as stake. We played with good tenacity against Nasarawa United and
we need to continue in that form,” Bode told Sportinglens.blogspot.com.
