Gambo resumes full training after three months

By Taofeek Babalola

Kano Pillars striker Gambo Muhammad gave his team something to cheer when he resumed full training session on Wednesday morning with the rest of the squad, Sportinglens.blogspot.com can reveal.

Sportinglens.blogspot.com reports that the club's gangling striker has been out of action for the past three months due to a knee injury.

The club's Media Officer, Idris Malikawa told Sportinglens.blogspot.com that the club's medical doctor Ali Adamu has certified Gambo fit to play again.

"The club's doctor Ali Adamu confirmed to us that in the next two weeks Gambo can play a match because by then he would be fully fit. Gambo's return to full training is a welcome development to the team," Malikawa told Sportinglens.blogspot.com.

"The services of Gambo is highly needed in the team and I believe he will give his best, hoping that his coming back will help the club to achieve its set objective. We missed Gambo in so many ways but thank God he is back now."

However, the club's midfielder Sikiru Kamal also joined the club training on Wednesday after he attended his wedding ceremony last Saturday in Idah Local Government of Kogi State.

Sai Masu Gida will be the guest of Gombe United this weekend in a match day 34 of the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) encounter at the Pantami Stadium, Gombe.
