Warriors technical adviser Ladan Bosso has heaped praises on referee Daniel
Akume from Makurdi who officiate their week 10 league game against Rivers
United at the Yakubu Gowon stadium, Port-Harcourt on Wednesday.Bosso believes Akume performed creditably well on Wednesday despite his team’s 1-0 defeat to Rivers United.
It is
understood that Rivers United versus El Kanemi Warriors game was Akume’s first
official assignment in the NPFL.
“I am really
impressed with the way he (Daniel Akume) handled our last match against Rivers
United in Port Harcourt. That was his first assignment in the league and he
justified his appointment. He was guided with two experienced assistants from
the same state. I commend referee
appointment committee for appointing such a wonderful person.”
