Chelsea ready to sacrifice Mikel, Oscar, Willian to seal Pogba deal

Chelsea are reportedly ready to sacrifice Nigerian international John Obi Mikel, Oscar and Willian in order to sign Paul Pogba in the summer transfer window, according to reports.

On Monday, it was announced that Antontio Conte will take over from Guus Hiddink at Stamford Bridge this summer and the Italian boss already has a number of targets in mind.

Sport Mediaset say Conte is prepared to lose Mikel, Oscar and Willian in order to raise the necessary £80million needed to bring in Juventus superstar Pogba.

Pogba’s former club Manchester United, as well as Arsenal, have also been linked with the 23-year-old France midfielder.

It’s understood that Mikel has given his condition if he has to renew his contract at the Stamford Bridge club. Mikel’s current contract expires in summer 2017.

The Nigeria captain says he will discuss with Conte in the summer and  at the end of the season to be sure of a first team action or else he moves out of the club.

"I have one more season with Chelsea but I know when this season ends, we will definitely sit down and try to sort out whatever needs to be sorted out,” he said on Metro.
