Nasarawa United forward Esosa Igbinoba has expressed appreciation to God over his winning goal that gave his side victory in the game against Plateau United in a match day 12 in a Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) at the Aper Aku Stadium, Makurdi on Saturday.

The hosts had earlier taken the lead in the 19th minute via a Seun Sogbeso penalty but the Jos boys leveled the score in the 43rd minute from Julius Nuhu giving them hope of a point only for Igbinoba to play spoiler late in the second half.

The Edo-born striker posted on his facebook account as he celebrated the goal and victory in the match.

He said: “Another goal today God you are so faithful, bless be your name IJN (amen).”

The win means the Lafia side have moved to 16th place on the NPFL log, two places behind Plateau United.
