United technical adviser Stanley Eguma has explained that he had studied Kano
Pillars painstakingly with the intent of neutralizing their strengths while
exploiting perceived weaknesses during Sunday’s league game.

Ovoke scored the only goal that gave the Port-Harcourt-base outfit victory over Kano Pillars in a week 12 of the Nigeria Professional Football League at the Yakubu Gowon Stadium, Port-Harcourt.
“I had been
monitoring Kano Pillars for a while now and I know how they play.
“They play a
possession-based game with a view of running down the clock in away games but
in the end, our tactical plans worked to perfection,” Eguma said.
