Nigeria's
Super Falcons have qualified for this year's Africa Women's Cup of Nations
holding in Cameroon.
The Falcons
defeated Senegal 2-0 in the return leg of the AWCON qualifier on Tuesday at the
Abuja National Stadium.
With the
win, they qualify 3-1 on aggregate, after playing 1-1 in the first leg last
week Friday.
Rita
Chikwelu opened the scoring for the Falcons after she found the back of the net
in the 36th minute.
One minute
into the second half, Osarenoma Igbinovia doubled the Falcons' lead.
Prior to
Chikwelu's opener, Asisat Oshoala missed from the penalty spot in the 30th
