Chelsea fans
have called for technical director Michael Emenalo to quit the club amid John
Terry’s unclear future at Stamford Bridge.
The
35-year-old, who joined Chelsea at the age of 14, faces the prospect of leaving
the club this summer when his contract expires.
And during
the second half of Chelsea’s 4-1 victory over Bournemouth on Saturday, Chelsea
fans broke out a chant of: “John Terry, we want you to stay, Emenalo, we want
you to go.”
Terry admits
he could still remain at Chelsea for another season, while reports have
suggested that Antonio Conte is keen for the former England captain to remain
at the club.
Chelsea
secured victory through two goals from Eden Hazard, his first in the Premier
League in 356 days, along with strikes from Pedro and Willian.
