Ikorodu United, Plateau United share points

Ikorodu United played its fourth home draw of the season in a Match day 16 of the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) after they played a 2-2 draw against Plateau United at the Onikan Stadium on Wednesday.

Twenty minutes into the game, Ikorodu United took the lead via penalty through Ojukwu Ifegwu, who netted his fifth goal of the season.

Isah Danladi was the busier goalkeeper when all effort by Kabir Balogun , who scored the  second goal was made abortive by the experienced goalkeeper.

Five minutes to the end of first half witnessed the desperation for goal by Zackare Baraje's side through Victor Namo but his effort from a close range went over the bar.

Ikorodu United ended the first half with a goal lead which prove not satisfactory to the fans .

The second half was evenly balanced until Plateau United equalised through Junior Salomon, fifteen minutes later Kabir Balogun restored the lead to excitement of the home fans.
But a poor goalkeeping error by goalkeeper Segun Fatunwase gave the away team their second goal of the game.
