Rangers, Heartland tie fixed for 7pm in Enugu

.Flying Antelopes wallop Ikorodu Utd 4-1 

Rangers International of Enugu will play its next Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) home game against Heartland FC of Owerri at night.

The match fixed for Friday May 20th will be the Flying Antelopes’ second game to be played under flood lights at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium, Enugu this season.

Its first night fixture, which was played on Friday, was against Nasarawa United and was well attended by the club’s fans - Rangers won the match against by 2-1.

“You asked for it #CoalCity fans, & it’s here #FridayNiteFootball @EnuguRangersFC Vs @HeartlandFC_ng #OrientalDerby on 20th May, 7pm @LMCNPFL,” Rangers twitted.

At the weekend, Rangers defeated Ikorodu United 4-1 in a Match Day 17 clash played in Enugu.

An own goal in the 10th minute and a brace from Tope Olusesan in the 16th and 20th minute as well 41st minute goal by Obinna Nwobodo ensured that Rangers secured maximum three points in the game and remain top on the log.


Ebiye Moses scored a consolation for Ikorodu United.
