Lobi
Stars FC is set to layoff some players that performed below expectation during
the first round of the Nigeria Professional Football League.
The club's Team Manager Barnabas Imenger told sportinglens.blogspot.com that the club will allow
players without playing time to seek greener pasture elsewhere.
Imenger
said the technical crew will submit the first round report which will give
the club the clue on number of players to sign during the mid transfer window.
He
said the club is satisfied with the team’s performances during the first round
which ended on Sunday.
“We
are not sacking players but there are players that are surplus to the
requirement. There no need to keep players without playing time. So we will
allow them to go. The technical crew report will allow us to know which way to
go on the new recruitment. We are really happy with our performances so far and
we want the team to sustain the momentum,” Imenger told sportinglens.blogspot.com.
