Head coach
of Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries Football Club of Lagos, Fidelis
Ilechukwu has expressed dissatisfaction with his team’s barren draw with
Enyimba International Football Club of Aba in a Match Day 16 of the Nigeria
Professional Football League (NPFL) tie played on Wednesday at the Agege
Township Stadium.
The youthful
tactician believes a victory would have been a better result for his side.
“Sometimes in football your best players may
run out of form and you need to keep psyching them up to adjust. I’m not happy
because we created chances and it’s very painful that we failed to convert
them.
“With their
name and with the quality they have in their squad I think the result is okay
but for me I don’t think so because as a coach I want to win as many games as
possible,” he toldmountaintopfc.com.
MFM FC
retains its 8th position on the NPFL table with 23 points from 16 League
matches.
They will be
hosting Niger Tornadoes Football Club of Minna this Sunday in Lagos at the
Agege Stadium.
