The
management of Plateau United has concluded plans to fortify the team with
additional six players during the ongoing mid-season transfer window.
The club’s
General Manager Pius Hemwan who confirmed this to Sportinglens.blogspot.com said the new
signing is necessary so as to enable the club to compete very well during the
second round.
“Although,
we appreciate the contribution of every players in the team but the truth is
that we will have to allow some players to go while we are thinking of bringing
in additional six players to boost the squad. The second stanza will be very
competitive and we want to come out very well at the end of the season,” Hemwan
said to Sportinglens.blogspot.com
The Hemwan
also lauded team’s performance in the first round.
He said: “it
is not an easy task to come from lower division and played with big clubs. We
tried our best in the first round and we have understood the terrain very well
now. We will try our best to better our performances in the second stanza. We
have identified our problems and we will try and solve it before we resume for
second round.”
