Rangers International of Enugu will play El Kanmei Warriors in a
rescheduled Match Day 18 of the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) clash on
Wednesday in Maiduguri.
It is understood that the Flying Angels have been training in
Abuja ahead of the tie before flying to Maiduguri on Tuesday.
The Enugu-based side stayed back in Abuja after their Round of 64 Federation
Cup 2-0 win over Akure City FC of Akure 2-0 last week.
The club’s media officer, Foster Chime said: “We are looking
forward to get something out of this game so as to improve on our points. We are
currently training in Abuja and we will fly to Maiduguri from Abuja on Tuesday.”
Wikki Tourists of Bauchi will also engage Enyimba in another
rescheduled match on Wednesday.
Wikki
Tourists head coach Abdul Maikaba believes that a win over Enyimba will see the
Bauchi-Based outfit move to the summit of the league.
“We can top
the league table if we can beat Enyimba on Wednesday,” said.
