Oduamadi dedicates goal to God

Nigerian international Nnamdi Oduamadi has expressed appreciation to God for his goal during his Finnish club, HJK Helsinki FC 2-1 victory against PK-35 Vantaa in the Veikkausliiga clash on Saturday.

Oduamadi and his compatriots, Taye Taiwo were on target as the duo played for the entire duration in HJK victory.

The 25-year-old Nigerian forward opened scoring in the 58th minute, before Finnish forward, Aleksi Ristola level scores for the home side in the 67th minute.

Former Super Eagles left-back Taiwo showed class and confidence by scoring the match-winner for The Club in the 77th minute, as the game ended 2-1 at full time in favour of the visitors.

Oduamadi has scored two goals in his seven games played so far this season; but it was Taiye Taiwo’s first goal of the season in his eight games appearance.

Oduamadi, who is on a season-long loan from Italian club, AC Milan opened his goal account on Wednesday, and later added his second in the away encounter at Vantaa.

Oduamadi said on his twitter account, “Thank you LORD for victory and another goal from me. DAD I know you so happy up there.”
