Sluis begs Warri Wolves boo boys

Warri Wolves Technical Adviser Ard Sluis has appealed to fans of the club to desist from chanting discouraging songs against the team while supporting the visiting team during home matches.

Sluis pleaded with the fans not to lose faith in the team, insisting that the club will soon turn its fortunes around.

"When you say you are supporting a team or you are a fan of the club, you are bound to give the club your total support. Even when they are not playing to your delight, you must continue to support them through thick and thin. I know that presently the club is having a difficult time which I believe will soon be a time of the past," Sluis pleaded.

The Dutch tactician praised the doggedness and attitude of his players for defeating Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) at the Lekan Salami Stadium, Adamasingba in Ibadan on Wednesday.

The Seasiders in a Match Day 16 encounters defeated Oluyole Warriors 2-1 to record their first away victory this season.

He charged the players to exhibit such fighting spirit both at home games and away encounters.
