Brazil vs Nigeria: Ekpai’s early strike secure 1-0 win for Nigeria

Ubong Ekpai’s 3rd minute goal against Brazil, stunned the Estádio Kléber Andrade home section as Nigeria earned a 1-0 win over the South American powerhouse in an international friendly, Friday.


The friendly was part of both team’s preparation for the Rio 2016 Games which kicks off August 4.

Dream Team VI was led by assistant coach Fatai Amoo ; with head coach Samson Siasia preparing the Super Eagles for a twin bill Afcon 2017 qualifiers against Egypt.

The win means Nigeria edge Brazil 2-1 in their head to head since the Summer Games in 1996.
