Nigeria’s opponents,
Egypt, in the double header Gabon 2017 Africa Cup of Nation qualifiers are
expected to arrive in Kaduna for the first leg encounter on March 23.
The goalkeeper
trainer, Ahmed Nagi revealed the North African side travel to Kaduna in a
private jet 2 days after the international window opens – 21 March.
“The team
will hold a camp on the 19th of March as the squad will be announced after the
CAF Champions League and Confederation Cup games. Then we will fly to Nigeria on the 23rd of
March in a private Jet, arriving in Kaduna.” Ahmed Nagi said.
This is the
first meeting between the sides since Egypt’s 3-2 win in a 2012 friendly.
The match
will be played at the 16, 000 capacity Ahmadu Bello stadium, Kaduna on March 25.
Egypt have 6
points from 2 round of matches; 2 points better than their March 25, West
African foes, after the same amount of games.
