Head coach
of Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries Football Club of Lagos, Fidelis
Ilechukwu has said his wards were not superior to El-Kanemi Warriors FC of
Maiduguri after their 3-1 victory on Sunday in Lagos.
The Olukoya
Boys thrashed the Borno Armies in Match Day 6 of the Nigeria Professional
Football League (NPFL) at the Agege
Stadium to record their fourth win of the season with Stephen Odey, Julius
Emiloju and Onuwa Chukwuka netting a goal each while Japhet Daniel scored
El-Kanemi's only goal of the match.
Despite
putting up a scintillating performance, the MFM FC handler believes the
visitors are better than his wards.
"Elkanemi
fc have a good team and experienced coach in Ladan Bosso who is my boss any day
anytime. He is still one of the best coaches in Nigeria. I won't say we are
better because he lost to my team, defeating them does not mean we are better,
I believe they tried", the youthful manager told MFM FC media.
MFM
currently sits at the top of the NPFL table with 13 points from 6 league
matches.
