The
management of Warri Wolves has presented Ard Sluis to the club’s fans as the new
technical adviser.
The
unveiling was conducted today at the Royal Nibo Hotel, in Warri.
The Dutch tactician
during his unveiling promised ‘total football’ at the club.
He gave honour to late Johan Cruyff (who died on Thursday) who was refers to as father
of modern day football and former Super Eagles coach Clemens Westerhof who he said is one of
his mentors.
Sluis’s
first assignment in charge of the team will be against Lobi Stars of Makurdi in a week nine of the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) on Sunday at the
Warri Stadium.
Meanwhile, Mr
Azuka Ogosi is the new secretary of the club. Ogosi replaced Lawrence who has
been redeployed to the Ministry of Sports in Asaba.
