Kano Pillars charge fans to storm Agege stadium en masse

The management of Kano Pillars has appealed to their fans in Lagos to make their presence count on Wednesday when they face Mountain of fire miracles and ministries (MFM FC) in a week eight of the Nigeria Professional Football League at the Agege Stadium.
Players and technical crew of Kano Pillars touched down at the Muritala Mohammed International airport in Lagos on Tuesday around 5:50pm aboard Azman airline.

The club’s media officer, Idris Malikawa to SportingLife that Lagos is like home to Sai Masu Gida anytime they are playing there. He described Lagos reception as marvelous.

He said the players are in high spirit and ready to face the task tomorrow.

Malikawa said the club’s chairman Kabiru Baita has taken players’ welfare as topmost priority that is why he has made travel plan for the team in ensuring they are comfortable for the match.

“We are going to this game with high hope of getting something from the match. This is not the first time we are playing in Lagos. The last time we played federation cup at Agege Stadium we enjoyed huge support from our fans here in Lagos.

“We are expecting a large turnout of fans too because we want to feel their impact at the stadium on Wednesday. Kano Pillars are international team and we have fans in every part of the country. We are very hopeful that we will get something out of this game.

"Before our departure at the Mallam Aminu Kano airport our club chairman Kabiru Baita charged the team to be good Ambassador to the Government and people of the state.
“Our chairman is doing everything for the team. He has motivated them well enough for the game against MFM and I hope the players will reciprocate with victory on Wednesday,” Malikawa told SportingLife.
