Kano Pillars star,
Mohammed Shagari has commended the fans for their support adding that they
contributed immensely to the success of the club.
Shagari was adjudged as Man of the Match in his team’s 2-0 home win over FC Ifeanyi Ubah in a week nine
of the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) played on Sunday at the Sani
Abacha Stadium, Kano.
Shagari, who has been with
Sai Masu Gida for the past eight seasons assisted Prince Aggreh and Suleman
Usman in the two goals scored against Ifeanyi Uba on Sunday.
He thanked God for giving
him the courage to perform very well in the match and assured more will come
from him. He described the success of the team as collective efforts of his
mate.
At the stadium, 20 votes
were casted by the journalists, most of those polled supported Shagari. He got
11 votes which is the highest and was voted as man of the match.

engine room to the success of the club."
“I think the success of the team is a collective effort. We have good squad and sound technical crew. We are determined and focused. We won’t allow the success to get into our head in our quest to reach our destination which is to win the league title this season,” Shagari told SportingLife.
