Players and
technical crew of Kano Pillars will arrive in Lagos on Tuesday aboard Azman
airline ahead of the week eight of the Nigeria professional Football League
clash against Mountain of fire Miracles and Ministries (MFM) FC at the Agege Stadium on Wednesday.
The club’s
media officer Idris Malikawa, said the team will depart Mallam Aminu Kano international airport by 2 pm on Tuesday for an hour and a half journey to Lagos.
Malikawa
said the club chairman Kabiru Baita arranged the travelling plan to make the team settle down well for the game.
“The
chairman Kabiru Baita is concerned that traveling by road will make the players
very tired for the match that is why he made an arrangement for the team to fly
to Lagos. The match is very important to us and we don’t want any tiredness for
the team,” Malikawa said.
The club’s
officials are expected to travel on Wednesday for the game.
However, Malikawa
has appealed to the team’s fans in Lagos to come out en-masse to cheer the team
to victory.
The match is
expected to be kicked off at the Agege Stadium, Lagos by 7pm and it will be
live on SS9.
