Enugu North Chairman splashes cash on Rangers

Chairman Enugu North Local government Hon. Isaac Igwe has promised to redeem cash reward promised the players of Rangers international before their next game against Mountain of Fire Miracle Ministries (MFM) at the Agege Stadium, Lagos.

Igwe promised Rangers players two hundred thousand naira for each goal scored and five hundred thousand naira for victory over Enyimba FC of Aba in Sunday's league match at the Nnamdi Azikiwe, Enugu.

The Flying Antelopes defeated Peoples Elephants 2-1 to win the cash reward for themselves.

The win over Enyimba moved Rangers to the top of the league with 17 points.

The club's media officer Foster Chime said the financial incentive will motivate the players for the MFM game.

He pleaded with other stakeholders in the state to emulate Igwe gesture by supporting the team in its quest to win the league title for the first time in three decades.

"The chairman Enugu North Local government Hon. Isaac Igwe has promised to redeem his promise before next week league match against MFM in Lagos. The financial reward will motivate the Rangers players for the MFM match," Chime said.
