Abia Warriors ready for Rangers----Boboye



Abia Warriors Manager, Kennedy Boboye says his team is ready for the Oriental battle against Enugu Rangers International in this weekend's match day six Nigeria Professional Football League encounter going by the preparations made so far.


Speaking ahead of the match slated for the Umuahia Stadium after one of their training sessions, Boboye said his boys have demonstrated great commitment and zeal in training and are roaring to go.

According to him, he has a full squad to choose from as he has no injury worries and expressed confidence that the team will do well against Enugu Rangers on Sunday.

On Abia Warriors' unbeaten run to the season, the former Sunshine Stars of Akure tactician explained that the team is not carried away by the development but is even working harder to maintain the status quo.

Abia Warriors football club remains the only side in the 20-team Premier league yet to test defeat in the five-week old campaign having won one and drawn two of its three away matches, while winning one and drawing the other one of its two home games so far.

Boboye, who was declared the League Bloggers Award Manager for the month of February, said the accolade has motivated him and his boys to work even harder and dedicated the award to God and the entire Abia Warriors family.
