The
head coach of Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries Football Club of Lagos,
Fidelis Ilechukwu, has disclosed that he's not going to ring changes in match
day 4 clash of the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) between his
wards and Sunshine Stars of Akure.
The
Lagos-based side suffered a 3-0 defeat in the hands of Oluyole Warriors on Saturday at the Lekan Salami Stadium,
Adamasingba, Ibadan but Fidelis believes that the same crop of players he
fielded against 3SC are capable of winning his next league game, hence he has
promised to stick with them.
"The
game against Sunshine Stars will be our fourth league match, we must not
experiment with our team," Fidelis said in an interview in Lagos on
Monday.
"We
won't allow our below-par performance against 3SC force us to ring changes
against Sunshine Stars because as a coach I believe in team cohesion and
synergy, changing the players that prosecuted that game against Shooting for me
is not the way forward."
"Don't
forget that this same players won their last two league matches, not fielding
them against Sunshine may reduced their confidence level," he concluded.
MFM
have amassed six points from three league matches in the three-week old NPFL.
