technical adviser, Godwin Uwua said his side played very well but ran into
ill-luck during Sunday’s 1-0 loss to Heartland FC in a match day five Nigeria
Professional Football League at the Dan Anyiam Stadium, Owerri.
``my
players are very good, but they failed to utilise some of their goal-bound
chances”.
He also
believed the officiating was fair enough. ``I want to commend the referee for a
professional officiating and the security agencies for a job well done’’.
The Dan
Anyiam Stadium, venue of the match was virtually empty, as overwhelming number
of the supporters club had boycotted the game.
Many of
supporters had threatened to boycott the club’s games after they merely secured
only two points in four games.
